Training our team
In order to provide the highest standard of care to our service users and local community, EMCAS provide high quality training and development to all of our team.
Our training team has been formed from serving frontline ambulance paramedics, military medics, NHS Nurses, and highly trained and experienced instructors from the Health and Social Care Sector.
EMCAS has its very own immersive training environment with role players, equipment and scenario-based training simulations.
Being Qualsafe Awards registered, EMCAS can provide additional training and CPD in pre- hospital care and first aid qualifications.
Professional Development
We know how important it is to provide continuous professional development (CPD) along with job specific training to our team. All of our staff members are trained to recognised standards within the Pre-Hospital and Social Care industry with additional training provided by us when required.
Our team of carers and ambulance crews give expert training in the use of manual handling and lifting equipment, and complete an e-Learning package that is recognised by the National Health Service (NHS) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) if they have not already completed this training.
During employment with EMCAS we aim to support and develop our team in their industry specific knowledge and education by means of upskilling courses and training programmes.
In the near future we hope to have the ability to take on apprentice care workers and work closely with local colleges and universities to support the growing need for carers to start a career within the industry.
